If you’re looking for a refreshing and creative cultural experience for the whole family, don’t miss renowned performing arts troupe, JUNK, at their 1.1 Holiday Revue Special. The program starts Dec. 12 and plays every weekend until Jan. 3 in JUNK’s unique headquarters at 2040 Christian St. Audience members will experience 1.1 hours (66 minutes) of fast-paced creative, joy-inspired dance-theater vignettes aimed at inspiring children and adults alike.
The revue celebrates over 20 years of joyous fun and creativity with hits from SKINK, JUNK’s nationally touring Children’s Theater Program which was recently featured at New York's Lincoln Center Education Institute. Included as well are favorites from JUNK’s critically acclaimed FringeArts Festival Series including: Patio Plastico, hailed “Goofiness Sublime” by the Philadelphia Inquirer; SNOWBALL called “swooping, sparkling fun”; and Dancing Dead, reviewed as "pure, transcendent, breath-taking genius". Other highlights include several of Sanders’ works made famous by the internationally renowned troupe MOMIX.
